How to map existing projects

If the project exists on both ends but has yet to be mapped you can do so via the Accounting module and the Projects tab. Click the empty field to the right to search for the project in QuickBooks and select it. At this point they will be mapped.

If the project name is not showing up in the QB project field you can click the Refresh Remote List button and re-run the sync. This will refresh your current project list from QuickBooks to then allow us to map it.

Pulling projects from QuickBooks into BuildTools

If the project exists in QuickBooks but not yet in BuildTools you can visit the SYNC module and from the Projects section locate the project that you want to bring over to BuildTools. In my example I would like to add the Tobler project to BuildTools. So I click the three dots and tell it to Pull from QuickBooks.

A few seconds later the project shows as mapped and now exists in BuildTools
note: you may have to refresh your browser page to see the project in BuildTools
