Purpose and Features

Our contact center platform is continuously evolving to help businesses manage customer inquiries received via email in a centralized and efficient way. As part of this effort, a new enhancement has been introduced:

Emails that are forwarded to an email address registered on the platform can now be detected and processed by the system.

Before this improvement, the system could only process emails sent directly to an email address registered on the platform. Now, emails sent to a different address and forwarded to a registered address via the email provider can also be detected and processed by the system.

Benefits

This enhancement brings key advantages, especially for businesses managing multiple email addresses:

  • Flexibility in Email Usage: Your customers can send messages to any of your email addresses. As long as emails are forwarding a registered address, they will be received and processed by the platform.

  • Centralized Email Handling: Messages from various email addresses can be funneled into one workflow, making it easier to manage communications from a single point.

  • Better Customer Service: Every customer email is captured and handled, regardless of which address it was originally sent to.

  • No Extra Setup Needed: Once email forwarding is configured through your email provider (e.g., Gmail, Outlook), the platform automatically handles the rest. No manual setup or additional definitions are required on the platform.

How to Use

To activate and use this feature, follow these simple steps:

  1. Make sure you have an email address already registered on the platform (e.g., support@yourcompany.com).

  2. Set up email forwarding from other addresses (e.g., info@yourcompany.com) to your registered address via your email provider.

    • Use the automatic forwarding settings in systems like Gmail, Outlook, or others.

      • Gmail Forwarding Setup:

      • Outlook Forwarding Setup:

  3. Once forwarding is active, all emails sent to the non-registered address will be routed to the registered one and automatically processed in its workflow.

  4. No further action or custom integration is required. The platform automatically identifies and processes forwarded emails.

We wish your operation benefits from this new release and look forward to hearing your feedback!
