User guide for signing into the Cammy mobile app for the first time

Signing Into Cammy Mobile

Once you have downloaded Cammy Mobile from the App/Play store, you can now proceed to log into the app to begin viewing your cameras remotely.

Step 1

Open Cammy Mobile by tapping the Cammy Icon on the home screen of your mobile device.

Step 2

Once greeted with the sign-in page to Cammy Mobile, enter the account email address or guest phone number [A] and select "Next" [B].

To scan a device QR code, tap the QR icon [C] in the top right corner.

Step 3 (Cammy Users)

Enter your password [A]. If you want to see your password, select the eye icon [B]. When the password is entered, select "Sign In" [C].

Step 3 (Guest Users)

Register your face, turning left and right to capture all sides [D].


Forgotten Password

Step 1

If you can't remember your password, tap "Send a password reset email" [A] to reset your password.

Step 2

When prompted, enter the [B] email address you used to sign up to Cammy with and then tap [C] "Reset Password"

Step 3

Check your email inbox for an email from Cammy asking you to reset your password and follow the instructions given to do so.

πŸ’‘ Resetting your password via the mobile app, will also change the password for your Cammy desktop app.


Cammy Mobile Onboarding

Upon signing into the Cammy Mobile app for the first time, you will be greeted with an onboarding tour to help you set up your app, so you can start monitoring your cameras from your mobile device, alongside your Console. Each onboarding page will demonstrate an icon that represents an area of the Cammy Mobile app.

Welcome

The first screen will ask you to allow Cammy Mobile to send you notifications.

To make the most of the Alarm feature, allowing notifications is a must. To do so, click [A] "Notification Settings". This will direct you to the notification settings for Cammy Mobile where you will need to toggle notifications on, as well as select your preferences for receiving alerts.

To set up your permissions at a later stage, click [B] "Not Now".

On some devices, you may receive a pop-up message asking you to allow Cammy Mobile to send you notifications. In this instance, click "Allow".

Download Media

So you can save video clips straight from your camera to your mobile device, Cammy will need permission to access your media gallery. When asked, click on "Allow Media Gallery Access".

Location Based Alarms

To activate and deactivate your alarms based on user location, your location will need to be shared with Cammy. To do so, click "Location Settings". This will direct you to the notification settings for Cammy Mobile, where you will need to select your location-sharing preferences.

On some devices, you may receive a pop-up message asking you to allow Cammy Mobile to send you notifications. In this instance, click "Allow while using the App".

Alarms and Support

The last two onboarding slides demonstrate icons to look for when managing your [A] Alarms from the Cammy Mobile app, as well as what to look for when seeking [B] Support. Permissions are not required for these areas of the app.

Once you have completed the onboarding tour, click [C] "Done". This will now direct you to the Cammy Mobile "Home" tab. You are now ready to use the Cammy Mobile app to monitor your cameras remotely.
