How to Access Phone Settings

Phone settings are an important part of your phone banking experience. They allow you to customize your phone settings to your liking. In this article, we will show you how to access your phone settings and what you can do with them.

Accessing Phone Settings

To access your phone settings, follow these simple steps:

Once you have accessed your phone settings, you will see a variety of options that you can customize to your liking.

Available Phone Settings

Here are the different settings that you can access in your phone settings: Twilio (setting up the caller ID), Phonebank Profile, Phonebank Voicemail, Phonelist Time Clock, Dynamic Dialer Settings, and Rapid Dialer Settings.

Twilio is our phone bank provider which needs to be toggled on in order to be able to proceed to make phone calls. Also in Twilio you can set up your caller ID by either typing in an area code and clicking buy (won't be charged) or by typing in a custom number for an office/burner phone to show up as the caller ID on the account. Please note a caller ID must be added before any calls can be made.

Phonebank Profile requires you to submit campaign information in order to be cleared to be able to use Twilio.

Phonebank Voicemail allows you to upload a voicemail to the account. To upload a voicemail the file must be in MP3 format and be under 55 seconds long. If you are unable to upload your file it is likely because it is the wrong file format, such as MP4. If this is the case, please Google Search "MP4 to MP3 converter" and use one of the many available free online converter tools.

Per FEC requirements, the voicemail must contain a statement at the end of the call disclosing who is paying for it (Ex:"This call was paid for by....) and you must provide a call back number where the voter can reach the campaign if they would like additional information. Lastly, we always advise that campaigns check their local and state laws regarding prerecorded audio messages.

Phonelist Time Clock allows you to set the hours of which your phone bank is available to users.

Dynamic Dialer Settings allows you to set your desired call ratio by clicking in the ratio box and selecting anything from a 1:1 ratio to 5:1 ratio.

Rapid Dialer Settings allows you to set your desired ration for the rapid dialer (manual power dialer) by selecting anything from a ratio of 1:1 to 5:1.

Each of these settings can be accessed and customized to your liking. Take some time to explore each setting and see how it can improve your phone banking experience.

Conclusion

In conclusion, accessing your phone settings is a simple process that can greatly enhance your phone banking experience. By following the steps outlined in this article, you can easily access and customize your phone settings to your liking.
