Auto Generating Walkbooks with Archimedes
Now live on Pulsar is the ability to auto generate your walkbooks/walk lists! There is no need to manually draw walk lists anymore. If this feature is not available on your account please reach out to your campaign administrator or account representative to get it enabled.
Below is a video as well as step by step instructions!

Using Archimedes
After selecting your targeted universe and filtering your geography to at least city level, scroll down to Step 3 Draw Polygons and check the box. Once the box is checked, click on the graph icon (last icon on the list of 3) on the right side of the screen.
Generating Walklists by Minimum/Maximum Address
After selecting the graph icon, there are two ways to auto generate your walk lists. The first way is by generating your walklists by minimum/maximum address.
First input the minimum and maximum number of addresses you would like in each walk list.
Secondly, input the minimum density per square mile (basically how many addresses are clumped close together; a square mile is defined as a unit of area. that represents the space inside a square shape where each side is exactly one mile long. Think of it as a square plot of land with each side measuring one mile).
Thirdly, input the maximum distance (in feet) between houses.
Lastly, input the concavity (this controls how concave the polygon is for generating a list) of the polygon; recommended range is between 400 and 800.
Once all these options are inputed, click generate polygons and the walk lists will be generated for your review. If the lists look good, click save and name the walklists as you normally would.
Generating Walklists by Number of Polygons
The second way to generate your auto generate is your walk lists is to generate them by the number of polygons you want. To generate walklists this way, click on the tab at the top of the Archimedes page to generate clusters based on the amount of polygons. Simply input the number of polygons (walk lists) you need and click generate.
Please note when using this feature, you can check the box at the end of the save walk list pop up page to create a phone list for voters who were not added in to any of your walk lists.
