Need to publish multiple polls without clicking through one by one? The Queue helps you save time by organizing and publishing all your class content in a single step.

🔍 What Is the Queue?

The Queue is a centralized space where you can prepare and store multiple polls before going live. Think of it as your staging area. You can line up questions in advance, then publish them all at once when you’re ready.

💡 Each poll in the queue remains its own activity, with individual settings, deadlines, and grading options.

✅ Why Use the Queue?

  • Organize all your polls for a class session in one place

  • Deploy multiple activities in one click, great for warm-ups, reflections, or quizzes

  • Avoid repetitive setup during class time

✨ Steps to Set Up a Queue

  1. Create a poll

  2. Select the triple dots located in the top right corner of your poll

  3. Choose “Add to Queue” instead of publishing immediately

  4. Once added, your polls will be housed inside the queue

  5. Repeat the process for each poll you want to add to the queue

  6. When ready, go to your Queue

  7. You have the option to 'Publish all' or 'Publish' one poll at a time.

⏱️ Best Practices

  • Each poll’s duration is unique
The timer is based on the settings you chose when creating the poll.

  • Deploying multiple polls?
👉 Consider increasing the time limit for each to ensure students can complete them at their own pace.

  • Use it for:

    • Back-to-back in-class questions

    • Homework quizzes

    • Exit tickets + feedback prompts

    • Pre-scheduled weekly check-ins

⚠️ Heads Up

  • Queued polls don’t share a timer. Each one is tracked and graded individually.

  • Once published, each poll follows the duration and point settings you defined during setup.

🛠️ Coming Soon: Self-Paced Mode

We’re working on a self-paced publishing option that will let students complete queued activities one at a time, at their own pace. Look for this update later this fall semester!
