Create polls, generate questions with AI, and configure points, timing, and anonymity.

How to create a poll

Step 1 Click on the '+New Activity'

Step 2 Choose the 'Poll Question(s)' option

Step 3 Select how you'd like to create your questions

  • Generate with AI: CampusKnot drafts the question and options from your topic. You review, edit, and publish.

  • Create Manually: You write the question and options yourself.

Step 4 Choose a poll type

Step 5 Configure and save your post

Configure and save screen with Behavior toggles, points options, timing set to a 3-minute duration, and topic tag fields
  • Award points

  • Modify the duration

  • Choose to 'Hide question'

Step 6 Choose a 'Topic Tag' before scheduling or saving your poll

Step 7 Once published, view submissions by clicking the 'Submitted by' option

Make a poll anonymous

💡 Anonymous hides names from classmates, not from you. You can still view submissions and award points as usual.

Step 1 After creating a poll, configure and toggle on the 'Anonymous' option

How to edit a poll

Step 1 Click on the three-dot (⋮) icon

Step 2 Select the 'Edit' option

Edit option highlighted in the poll menu, above Duplicate, Copy link, Delete, and Add to queue

Step 3 You can edit every part of a poll until you publish it. After publishing, everything stays editable except the poll type
