Integrating CampusKnot with your Canvas course is a straightforward process, follow the guide below to seamlessly integrate CampusKnot into your Canvas course and take advantage of its features.

Prerequisite:

  1. Add CampusKnot to your course adoption materials for the semester.

    • Supported Integrations: We currently support LMS 1.3 integrations with VitalSource and Barnes & Noble partner schools only.

  2. You can add CampusKnot to the course materials addition form inside your LMS or contact your campus bookstore representative. ISBN codes you can use:

    • Barnes & Noble Bookstores: ISBN: 8220131031052

    • Follett Bookstores: ISBN: 9780131031052

    • Independent Bookstores: Use "CampusKnot" or "CAMPUSKNOT4MONTH"

Features of CampusKnot Available through the Canvas LTI 1.3 Integration

Once CampusKnot is integrated with your Canvas course, you will have access to several useful features.

To access the articles with steps, click on the bolded pink titles marked 1-3πŸ‘‡.

    • Provide students a link to their CampusKnot course from within the LMS through single sign-on (SSO) after adding CampusKnot to your course materials for the semester.

    • Automatically sync your Canvas student roster to your CampusKnot course, ensuring that student information is always up-to-date.

    • Easily pass grades from CampusKnot to Canvas, streamlining the grading process and ensuring consistency across platforms.

Steps for Students

After inviting students, you can check who has synced their LMS accounts with CampusKnot and who hasn't.

  • If a student does not connect their LMS account to CampusKnot, their pass-back grade will be recorded as '0', as the failed connection will signal to your LMS that the student does not exist on CampusKnot.
