STEP 3: Determine participation points for the semester
We recommend attaching points to CampusKnot. Our instructors typically set 10%-15% of their semester grade towards participation. It's essential for students to clearly understand their responsibilities and learn which tools they should use during the semester.
To help you kick things off, we suggest starting small your first semester with two or three features that best resonate with your teaching style. Here are a few options to start your semester. First, the perfect trifecta (Attendance, Polls, and Feeds), or maybe, venture into feedback galore🦄 (Feeds, Polls, and Poll Stacks [upcoming feature]). You decide!
STEP 4: Add CampusKnot to your syllabus.

Hello Class! We will use CampusKnot (www.campusknot.com) for class participation this semester. Inside CampusKnot, you can engage in live conversations with your peers, send feedback on class material via polls, and earn points throughout the semester. You'll be responsible for:
Participating (# input the number) Feed posts per week
Answering (# input the number) Polls every week
The fee to use CampusKnot is $19.96 for the entire semester. However, you have a 7-day free trial. When creating an account, ensure you access CampusKnot through a web browser on your laptop, iPad, or tablet. In-app sign-ups and purchases are not allowed. Once you've created an account and chosen a subscription, you'll be able to use your mobile application. Don't forget you can submit responses to course questions, submit attendance, and ask for help using your Apple/Android smartphones and laptops.
