STEP 3: Add CampusKnot as a Course Required Software
CampusKnot can be included as courseware material through your campus bookstore initiatives, similar to a textbook or homework platform. Follow the steps here.
STEP 4: Determine participation points for the semester
We recommend attaching points to CampusKnot. Our instructors typically set 10%-15% of their semester grade towards participation. It's essential for students to clearly understand their responsibilities and learn which tools they should use during the semester.
To help you kick things off, we suggest starting small your first semester with two or three features that best resonate with your teaching style. Here are a few options to start your semester. First, the perfect trifecta (Attendance, Polls, and Feeds), or maybe, venture into feedback galore๐ฆ (Feeds and Polls). You decide!
STEP 5: Add CampusKnot to your syllabus.
Copy/paste this text and modify it as you need. Please don't forget to change the bolded section:
Hello Class! We will use CampusKnot (www.campusknot.com) for class participation this semester. CampusKnot counts for [10-15%] of your participation grade, and every week, you are responsible for the following:
Create (# input the number) Feed posts per week
Submit (# input the number) Polls
Submit (# input the number of attendance) check-ins every week
When creating an account, ensure you access CampusKnot through a web browser on your laptop, iPad, or tablet. In-app sign-ups are not allowed. Complete steps 1-3 to gain access to the class.
Step 1: Access or Create an Account
Follow these steps to create a CampusKnot account. Don't forget you must use your @university.edu/.ca email. The following email extensions are not supported (@gmail, @icloud, etc.).
Step 2: Join a Class
