Grade sync is available for cross-listed sections, just as it is for standalone courses.

Note the following regarding cross-listed sections: Attendance and overall course grades might differ across sections because they happen on different days and times. To keep students' grades consistent, we average the total possible points for all sections. This way, every student's grade is fair, no matter which section they are in.

  1. Log in to Canvas.

  2. Visit your Course Materials Page and select 'Launch Courseware'.

  3. Choose the 'Sync grades' option

  4. Choose an LMS-synced CampusKnot course to get started. You must first sync a Canvas course for it to appear in the export grades section.

  5. Choose one of the options on the screen. We recommend using the final score (unweighted) or the points earned. Click on 'Sync Grades' to finish the grade sync on Canvas.

  6. If you see a 'Sync Grades Errors' message after selecting 'Sync grades,' don't worry. This list shows the students who are on CampusKnot but haven't synced their Canvas accounts. You can choose 'continue anyway' and manually input these students' information.

  7. In the Canvas grade book, you'll see a column called 'CampusKnot App' with a single grade for each student. Grades will appear in this column within minutes, depending on the class size.
