How to Link Your LMS Account to CampusKnot (Students)

Link your LMS account through your bookstore's course materials program.

Written by Cameron

Before you start

  • Link your LMS account from a computer or iPad browser

  • Make sure you have a CampusKnot account. If you don't, you'll be redirected to the sign-up page automatically. Create a password

Steps to Sync your Accounts

Step 1 Log in to CampusKnot or Sign up for an account

If your CampusKnot account isn't 'LMS Synced' you'll see a pop up with the message 'Hold those hoses'. Click on 'Take Me to My LMS to Sync Accounts'.

Step 2 You'll be redirected to your LMS (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, or D2L Brightspace). Search for your course materials page and click on' Launch Courseware'

⚠️ Depending on your bookstore program, this section may be labeled Books & Tools, Bulldog Bundle, Course Materials, JagPack, First Day, First Day Complete Course Materials, etc.

Step 3 Choose one of these paths:

Option 1: If you're not new to CampusKnot

Your page will look like the screenshot here ⬇️. Click on 'Go to CampusKnot Now'

Option 2: If you're new to CampusKnot

Your LMS usually shares your name, school email, campus, and other details with CampusKnot, so most of the sign-up form is already filled in.

Fill in any missing details in the sign-up form:

  • Select Student

  • Create and confirm a password.

  • Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, then check the box confirming you agree.

Option 3: You might already have a CampusKnot under a different email address

  • On the welcome screen, click Already have an account? Sign in

  • Enter the email and password for your existing CampusKnot account

  • Click Login

Step 4 If your account is 'LMS-connected', there are no further steps to take

Troubleshooting

→ 400 error appears during any step above

If you get a 400 error, log out and log back into your LMS. Most LMS platforms end a session after a few minutes to protect students' information, so a session left open too long will produce this error.

→ What to do:

  • Close the CampusKnot tab

  • Log out of your LMS and CampusKnot

  • Follow steps 1-3 again to reconnect.
