Getting your CampusReel project off the ground is relatively straightforward. Here's the "Order of Operations":

1. Think about your content needs.

2. Write your tasks to align with those needs.

3. Invite students to join the project.

4. Maintain the content pipeline.

Step 1: Think about your content needs.

  • What are the messages you want to communicate and what types of clips and images do you need to support those messages?

  • Your content creators meed know where to start and they’ll submit what you ask for, so make it easy! Give them 3-5 tasks to get started.

Step 2: Build tasks to align with your content needs.

  • The tasks section of your admin panel is where you’ll input your instructions and talking points and for your creators.

  • Your portal is pre-loaded with 4 generic tasks - feel free to keep, adjust, or toss these out entirely.

  • We’ve created pre-written task templates for commonly researched topics such as residential life, things to do around town, and academics. Feel free to copy/paste these into your dashboard.
