Using the Hospital Response Chat Feature with Careflow
One of Careflow's superpowers is that it gives you the ability to reply to the hospital or other referral source straight from our site. No more logging into multiple programs to respond to each referral individually.
Where do I Find Hospital Responses?
Simply head over to the chat sidebar and click the reply icon at the top right corner. That will bring up all communication that has taken place with the hospital.
Hospital users are marked with a blue "H" icon next to their username.
How Do I Use it?
This reply chat bar serves as a standard chat messaging platform, allowing you to respond by simply chatting with the hospital. No need to mention anyone in particular, your message will go straight to the referral source!
Adding Your Credentials
In order for you to communicate with the hospital or referral source via your Careflow account, you must first add your credentials. To do this, click on your personal avatar in the top-right corner of the screen and select “Credentials” from the menu dropdown.
Click on the "Add Credentials" button. This will add a new set of credentials to your list. Select the program name (Allscripts, NaviHealth...) and fill out the required information. Press the save button to save your credentials.
Once you have your credentials entered, you will be given the ability to chat with the hospital or referral source right on your Careflow page, through the use of our chat feature.
Please Note
Hospital replies are not yet available for referrals received via manual upload or fax. We look forward to implementing these abilities one day in the future!
