Sync Patient Data with PCC

Updated over 2 years ago

Introduction

Careflow is a powerful tool that allows you to seamlessly sync your patient data to PCC (Patient Care Connect). This synchronization ensures that your patient data is available and transparent in both systems, providing you with a unified and efficient workflow. In this article, we will guide you through the process of syncing patient data and referrals, as well as explain the symbols used in Careflow for easy tracking.

Syncing Patient Data to PCC

To sync your patient data to PCC, navigate to a new referral. On the referral page, you will be presented with the option to create a lead. It is essential to include the account and contact that sent you the lead. This information helps us generate accurate reports regarding your referral sources. By creating the lead directly from Careflow, you can eliminate the need to switch between multiple systems, streamlining your workflow.

Syncing Referral Documents

Careflow goes beyond syncing patient data and also includes the ability to sync referral documents. All documents that are associated with a referral will be automatically synced within the system.

This feature ensures that you have quick access to the relevant documents and information in one centralized location, saving you time and effort.

Symbols for Referral Sync Status

Careflow utilizes symbols on the index page to provide a quick glimpse into the status of referral syncing with PCC.

The symbols are located on the left side of the patient's name on the index page for easy identification.

The following symbols indicate different sync statuses:

  • Blue Cloud Upload: This symbol indicates that the referral has not yet been synced with PCC. Please note that syncing may still be in progress.

  • Green Check: When you see the green check symbol, it signifies that the sync was successful, and the referral data is available in PCC.

  • Yellow Alert: If you come across the yellow alert symbol, it means an error occurred during the sync process. In such cases, please try syncing the referral again.

We hope this article has provided you with a clear understanding of how to sync patient data and referrals using Careflow. By leveraging this functionality, you can ensure seamless integration between systems and optimize your workflow.
