How do I add and Inland to a quote?

Adding an inland to a quote

Updated over 11 months ago

When creating a quote for our client we might want to add the price of the land transportation of the container from the stuffing point to the port (and viceversa). For this purpose is for what the inland's mode inside the quotations module was built

After having made a search and created a quotation on Cargofive we must move forward to "Inlands"

We must choose between creating an inland for origin or for destination and fill the brackets with the port and the location

  • Adding an Inland from a contract

Then a chart with all the providers suitable for this transport will show

We must select the provider desired and "Apply"

The Inland will then be added to the quote.

  • Adding and Inland manually

Whether we do not have an uploaded a contract that covers the selected Location

or we want to create a special price for this quotation. We can always create the Inland manually from scratch 🙌

In the first case we will just click on "Add prices manually"

The inland will be then added to the contract with cost 0 and we will be able to fill the brackets

If we do want to create a personalised price for a location which does have a contract that suites the route, we will select "Custom provider (empty values)" when the list displays

And the inland with values 0 will be added to the quote

Also we can always change the choosen provider
