This Cookie Policy explains how Casa Apps Inc. ("Casa Apps", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at casaapps.com and in the storefront widgets our apps add to merchants' Shopify stores. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. This policy is provided for information only and does not create any contractual rights or obligations.

We may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, local storage and other similar technologies ("tracking technologies") to automatically collect information when you visit our website or a store that uses our apps. Tracking technologies are small data files placed on your computer, tablet, mobile phone or other device that record certain information when you visit. We use them to help identify irregular behaviour, prevent fraud, improve security, keep you signed in, save your preferences and understand how our website is used.

Our storefront widgets do not currently use cookies for advertising or to track shoppers across other websites.

When a merchant uses Casa Loyalty, our widget on their store is designed to use cookies and local storage to show the shopper's loyalty status, such as points and rewards, and keep them signed in to the loyalty program.

The merchant is responsible for its own store's cookie banner and policy. Merchants may request a list of the cookies our widgets use, which we will provide where reasonably available, so they can include them.

Our website uses Intercom to provide chat and customer support. Intercom may set cookies to make the chat work and remember your conversations, under its own privacy policy.

We use Google Analytics on our app listings in the Shopify App Store to understand how merchants find and install our apps, for example how many visitors view a listing and which pages they came from. These cookies are set on Shopify's App Store pages, not on our website or merchants' stores, and Shopify manages cookie consent there. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on our website from third parties such as Google, Meta or LinkedIn. If we add them in future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, and most browsers also let you block or delete cookies. You can disable cookies by following the instructions in your browser settings or at www.youradchoices.com. If you disable, delete or refuse cookies, some features of our website or a store's loyalty widget may not work, and some pages may not display properly.

Our website does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

We may update this Cookie Policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new date.
