Overview
Every Casa Loyalty on-site extension — Points on Product Page, Points on Cart Page, Point Balance on Account Page, Checkout Thank You Page, Customer Account Pages, and any others you add — comes with a built-in "Learn more" link. This link sits next to the points/rewards message shown to your customers and can be pointed to any page in your store (your Loyalty Program page, an FAQ, Terms & Conditions, etc.).
There are now two ways to set this link:
Method 1 (recommended): Settings → Points banner link — sets the link once for all templates at the same time. Currently covers the Points on product page and Points on cart page extensions.
Method 2: Theme editor block settings — edits the link for one specific template only, and works for every extension (including ones not covered by Method 1, like Point Balance on Account Page).
Individual theme blocks can still override the global setting — see the note at the end of Method 1 below.
Method 1: Set It Globally from Settings (Points on Product/Cart Page only)
Open the Casa Loyalty app from your Shopify admin.
Click Settings in the left menu.
Click Points banner link (under "Set the 'Learn more' link for the points banner on product and cart pages").
Here you'll see:
Show "Learn more" link — toggle on/off. When off, the link is hidden on all templates that inherit this setting.
Link destination — a dropdown with three options:
On-page loyalty section (scroll to widget) — clicking "Learn more" scrolls the customer down to your on-page loyalty widget instead of navigating away.
Shopify page — pick any existing page from your store (e.g. your Loyalty Program page).
Custom URL (e.g. customer account loyalty page) — paste any URL, including the full-page customer account loyalty extension URL (copy this from the checkout and accounts editor).
Once saved, you'll see a confirmation banner ("Points banner link updated.") and the page will show your "Current link" at the bottom so you can confirm what's live.
📌 Note: This setting applies store-wide by default, but individual templates can still override it from the theme editor block settings (Method 2 below). If a specific block has its own link set, that block's setting wins over the global one for that template only.
Method 2: Set It Per-Template from the Theme Editor
Use this method for extensions not covered by Method 1 (e.g. Point Balance on Account Page), or when you want one specific page to use a different link than the rest of your store.
Open your Shopify Theme Editor, on the specific page where the extension is placed (e.g. open a product page to edit the Points on Product Page block, open the cart page to edit the Points on Cart Page block, etc.)
In the left sidebar, click on the Casa Loyalty block you want to edit (e.g. "Points on product page").
In the settings panel that opens, you'll see the following options:
Show "Learn more" link — toggle this on/off to show or hide the link entirely.
"Learn more" link — click this field to choose any page on your store (your Loyalty Program landing page, an FAQ page, Terms, etc.) that the link should open. Shopify will show you a full list of your store's pages to pick from.
Open link in a new tab — toggle this if you want the link to open in a new browser tab instead of navigating away from the current page.
If you leave the "Learn more" link field empty, it will default to scrolling down to the on-page loyalty widget section (#casa-home) instead of navigating to a separate page.
Click Save once you're happy with the destination.
Tip: The same block panel also has a "Manage app" shortcut (takes you back into Casa Loyalty) and a "Remove block" option, in case you ever want to take the extension off that page entirely.
Where to Find Your Extensions
All of your on-site extensions are managed from one place: open the Casa Loyalty app, click Branding in the left menu, then scroll down to the "On-site content and extensions" section. From there you can jump to Setup for each one, which drops you straight into the Theme Editor for that page.
