How it Works
Whenever a comment is added to the #CaseStatus #Message thread, this message will be posted to the corresponding case in Case Status and thus delivered to all clients on that case.
All incoming and outgoing messages will continue to be saved to the #CaseStatus #Message thread as usual.
Integration Configuration
Setting up the Filevine Webhook
In Filevine, click Main Menu > Advanced and select API Credentials from the left side menu. If applicable, select the desired Org from the dropdown at the top of the page.
Click Create New Key, and then fill out the key’s purpose and click Create. (Purpose: Case Status Integration) *you may just need to update the existing key
The API key and key secret will be generated. Copy both items and send them back to me, along with your Filevine URL.
Next, navigate to the Subscriptions tab on the left-hand menu and click Create new Subscription
The Name should be Case Status Messaging and Description should be For sending messages from a Projects Activity feed in the #CaseStatus #Messaging thread
The API Key should be the one created in the step above
Webhook will be: https://app.casestatus.com/filevine_webhook/{firm_id}
Events: Select Comment > Created
