SOP: Creating an Item in the Store
Objective:
To add a new item to the store inventory with all necessary details and settings for smooth operation.
Key Steps:
Go to the Admin tab on the left-hand side and access Store Setup.
Click on the yellow plus button on the right side of the screen to add a new item.
Edit the product category and input the item details (e.g., name, description).
Set the price for the item and consider setting a separate price for specific user groups if needed.
Decide whether to include tax for the item.
Define product options such as sizes, colors, etc.
Set inventory levels to track stock availability.
Consider setting items as pre-order if applicable and adjust inventory accordingly.
Attach a picture of the item for visual representation.
Decide whether to defer purchases to the next invoice to avoid processing fees.
Enable in-app notifications for item purchases.
Choose to hide the item from the store if needed.
Create and apply coupons or promo codes for discounts if desired.
Save the changes to finalize the addition of the item in the store.
