Questions about a change? Ask directly from the item page. Our team can help clarify the announcement, its implications and what to consider next.
Plus feature: Ask about this change needs Plus or an activated Plus trial. On Free, the control is shown with a Plus marker and explains how to request a six-week trial.
Where to find it
Open an item in Message Center, Microsoft 365 Roadmap or Azure Updates.
Select Ask about this change, the first control in the row above the title, before Watch and Bookmark.
The in-app Messenger opens with the item's ID, title and link already in the message. Add your question beneath My question: and send it.
Nothing is sent until you choose Send. The control is on item pages only, not in feed lists.
What to ask
Use it when the announcement itself is unclear: what the change means for your organisation, whether it affects a configuration you rely on, how it relates to another item, or what to prepare. Keep one item per question so the answer stays with that item.
For sign-in, access or email problems, use the Messenger's normal support route instead. See Resolve sign-in, access or email problems and contact support.
How replies work
Questions asked this way go straight to the ChangePilot team rather than the AI agent. You get an immediate acknowledgement, and a member of the team replies in the same conversation, in the app. If you have left the app, the Messenger shows the reply when you return; email follow-up uses the address on your account.
Where an answer would help other customers, the team may also improve the item's ChangePilot summary or add a help article.
