In Chariot, you have the option to visually set up per-mover, per-job roles on your schedule. This feature is helpful if you have a variety of mover roles and want to see specific capacity by role when planning your day. Here’s a quick overview of how to enable and use this feature effectively.
Viewing Movers and Roles on the Schedule
Option 1: Basic View
In the Basic View, movers appear on the left side of the schedule with a simple layout, and all movers look the same visually.
This view is ideal if you don’t have many role variations or prefer a simplified view.
At the top, you’ll see your total mover capacity for the day, indicating the number of movers available versus the number required.
Option 2: Role-Based Visuals
If your team has multiple role types, we can enable Role-Based Visuals for added detail.
In this view:
Movers display colored badges on the schedule, representing each mover's role.
Hovering over each badge shows the mover’s specific role (e.g., "Driver," "Helper").
You’ll also see capacity by role—not just the total movers available, but how many are available by each role type, which is useful if specific roles are needed for certain tasks.
Role Management and Customization
With Role-Based Visuals, you can customize role colors and other role settings through the Role Management page.
Reach out to support@chariotmove.com if you need assistance managing or enabling these settings.
This feature can be tailored to your operational needs, providing a more detailed view of your team’s availability by role. Let us know if you have questions about setting up your schedule!
