Adding Chariot to Your Home Screen on Safari and Chrome

Quickly access Chariot by adding it to your home screen on iOS and Android using Safari or Chrome. Follow these easy steps!

Adding Chariot to your home screen allows for quick and easy access -- just like a native app from the app store, no need to open your web browser!

Follow these steps based on your device and browser. Ensure you have the URL provided by your company, such as https://yourcompanyname.chariotmove.com.

iOS Devices (must use Safari)

Safari

  1. Open Safari: Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad.

  2. Navigate to Chariot: Enter the URL provided, such as https://yourcompanyname.chariotmove.com, and load the website.

  3. Open Share Menu: Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing up.

  4. Add to Home Screen: Scroll through the options and select "Add to Home Screen."

  5. Name the Shortcut: You can name the shortcut anything you like, for example, "Chariot". Tap "Add" in the top right corner.

  6. Access from Home Screen: The Chariot icon will now appear on your home screen. Tap it to access Chariot quickly.

Android Devices (must use Chrome)

Chrome

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Chrome browser on your Android device.

  2. Navigate to Chariot: Enter the URL provided, such as https://yourcompanyname.chariotmove.com, and load the website.

  3. Open the Menu: Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of the screen.

  4. Add to Home Screen: Scroll down in the menu and tap "Add to Home screen." On some Android versions, this may appear as "Install app" — either option works.

  5. Name the Shortcut: Edit the name if you'd like (e.g., "Chariot"), then tap "Add."

  6. Place the Icon: Chrome may ask you to place the icon on your home screen. Tap "Add automatically" or drag it to your preferred spot.

  7. Access from Home Screen: The Chariot icon will now appear on your home screen. Tap it to open Chariot directly.

💡 Tip: If you don't see "Add to Home screen" in the menu, make sure you're using Chrome (not another browser) and that you're on your company's Chariot URL.
