How do I prevent a client from making changes to a booking?

You can prevent customers from making changes to their bookings and/or proposals, such as adding or removing add-ons, backdrops or design templates. You can also prevent or allow clients making changes to finalized questionnaires.

To make changes to the Change Policy

  1. Click Manage --> Business Settings --> Availability --> Change Policy

  2. Choose which change policy you want to change:

    1. Online Booking

    2. Proposals

    3. Confirmed Bookings

    4. Questionnaires

For Online Booking, you can set:

  • How much lead time you need before a booking?

  • What is the furthest out you will accept a new booking?

For Proposals, you can set:

  • Are customers be able to add and remove add-ons before accepting a proposal? (this setting can be overridden on individual proposals)

  • Should customers be able to add and remove extras before accepting a proposal?

  • Should customers be able to choose their backdrop before accepting a proposal?

For Confirmed Bookings, you can set:

  • Allow customers to make changes to their confirmed bookings? (Y/N)

    • How long before a booking's start time can a customer change their booking?

    • How long before a bookings start time can a customer cancel their booking?

    • How long before a booking can customers unlock submitted questionnaires?
