Can I assign staff to leads?

With Check Cherry, you can assign staff to your leads so that they can follow up with leads. When the lead is converted to a proposal or booking, that staff person will remain assigned. You can also set a follow up date on the lead.

Start by editing your lead

Go to Sales --> Leads and click on the lead you wish to assign staff to.

  1. In the Requested staff box, search for the staff name

  2. It may also be helpful to enter a next follow up date

Note that if you want staff to be able to message leads, they will need to have the Extended Permissions role enabled in their user settings.

Can my staff email or text the leads?

In order for a staff member to be able to access the Messages tab on a booking, they will need to have the Extended Permissions role enabled on their user account.

To enable the sales role for a staff person, go to Manage --> User Accounts, edit the user and check the box next to the Extended Permissions role, then save their account permissions.
