Check Cherry creates sample data for you when you sign up, so depending on the type of account you chose, there may already be a selection of sample accounts matching your account type (Photobooth, Venue Space, Photography, Wedding MC/DJ, Mobile Bartending, Casino Party, etc.)
How should I organize my packages?
Packages are organized in 3 levels:
Service - "Top" or "Highest" level. Ex: geographic area, service type .(Photobooth, DJ, Mobile Bartender)
Package Group - Related packages within a service. Ex: 360 or Mirror booths.
Package - Individual services/packages that can be booked separately.
When someone visits your booking page, depending on how many services and package groups you have with public packages, they'll see either your Services or Package groups first. If you had 3 Services, this is what the first page of your booking engine would look like (you could change the images and text of course).
Within the Photo Booth service from above, this is what the second page would look like - displaying the 3 Package Groups within the Photo Booth Service:
And within the Photo Booth Package Group, they'll see your public Packages:
To add your packages:
Click on Manage --> Packages. You can edit the existing sample packages, or delete them and create your own by clicking Add a Package.
Then customize your packages:
Click on the General tab of the package you want to edit.
Title - give your package a unique, descriptive title.
Package Description - write in a short description of what the package includes.
Status - by default, the status is Public, but you can set it to Private, which still leaves it available for booking, or disable it but keep it in your package manager.
Package Group - by default, the package is created in the package group that it is created in.
Then click on the Pricing & Scheduling tab:
Scheduling Mode
Date & Time: packages will have specific dates but not start times.
Minimal: Display a simple date and time picker and allow customers to choose from available future dates and times.
Automatic Slots: Automatically generate and display available slots for the day and allow customers to choose from them.
Predefined Slots: Define your own custom times for this package and display only the available slots to the customer.
Date Only: packages will only have a date but not a start time.
Calendar Picker: Show dates and allow customer to choose from available future dates.
Pricing: set the price of the package, including whether or not it can be booked for additional hours, and the pricing structure.
Availability: set the dates and times that this package is available.
Click Save at any point to save your progress and publish the package.
Each package consists of 4 tabs - Overview, General, Pricing & Scheduling and Advanced.
Overview tab: this tab shows all of the information about this package.
General tab: on this tab you can edit:
Title: title of the package
Package Description: description of what the package includes
Status:
Public - visible on booking pages and able to be booked.
Private - not visible on booking pages, but able to be booked.
Disabled - not able to be booked.
Package Group: the package group the package belongs to.
Pricing & Scheduling tab: this tab sets the scheduling mode, pricing and availability for the package.
Advanced: this tab sets the booking mode, header and sub-header, backdrop and add-on options.
