Designing tiers & multipliers

Set thresholds, multipliers and benefits for Bronze through Platinum.

Tiers reward your most engaged consumers and give them a reason to keep scanning. Each tier has a points threshold, an earn multiplier and a set of benefits.

Tiers are entirely yours to define — a new workspace starts with none, and you add as many as your programme needs.

A LADDER THAT WORKS

A common shape, as a starting point rather than a default:

• Bronze (from 0 pts) — 1× points, airtime redemption.

• Silver (from 2,000 pts) — 1.25× points, data and vouchers, priority draws.

• Gold (from 8,000 pts) — 1.5× points, cash redemption, bonus entries, birthday reward.

• Platinum (from 20,000 pts) — 2× points, concierge, exclusive prizes.

TO EDIT THEM

Open Edit tiers on the Loyalty page. Each row takes a name, a threshold and a multiplier; add a tier with Add tier, remove one with the ✕ beside it.

Members climb automatically as they earn — there is no manual promotion and no way to move someone by hand. Because membership is recalculated from thresholds, lowering a threshold promotes everyone who already qualifies, immediately.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES

The multiplier is the engine: a higher tier should earn faster, which is what makes the climb feel worthwhile. Keep the population pyramid wide at the base — most consumers sit at the bottom, a few reach the top.

Watch the cost. A 2× multiplier doubles your liability for that cohort, so reserve the richest benefits for genuinely high-value members, and check the tier member counts on the Loyalty page before you widen
