Achievements are milestone badges that nudge specific behaviours. Unlike points, they are earned once and are about habit, not balance.
*Achievements sit beside the redemption catalogue; the number on each badge is how many consumers have earned it.
WHAT YOU CAN SET
New badge takes:
• Badge name — for example "Loyal Scanner".
• Icon — one of eight.
• Description — shown to your team.
• Unlock condition — one of three metrics, plus a threshold.
• Bonus points on unlock — set 0 for a badge with no points attached.
THE THREE UNLOCK METRICS
• Total submissions reach — lifetime scans hit a number. Use it for depth of engagement.
• Submissions in 30 days reach — scans within a rolling month. Use it for recent intensity rather than lifetime history.
• Points balance reaches — the wallet crosses a threshold. Use it to mark economic value.
Badges unlock automatically once the condition is met; there is nothing to award by hand.
CHOOSING A THRESHOLD
The number on each badge card is how many consumers have earned it. A badge nobody has earned almost always means the threshold is set above what your actual traffic produces — check it against a typical consumer's scan count rather than an aspirational one, and lower it rather than leaving a badge permanently out of reach.
