Overview
This guide will help you suggest a product to a customer using the product suggestion feature. The customer will be able to view the product page and initiate the approval process directly from your suggestion.
Prerequisites
Active user account
Understanding of customer's needs or requirements
Steps
1. Trigger the suggestion feature
Trigger the suggestion from your dashboard.
2. Select the Customer & Product to suggest
Each suggestion has three fields:
Customer
Select a customer that you are Connected with on ChemCloud
Product
Select a product from your catalogue that would be a good fit for the customer
Comment
Include a personalised comment to the customer including:
How the product addresses their specific requirements
Key benefits or features that apply to their use case
Any special pricing or availability information
3. Send Suggestion
Once sent, the email will send a suggestion to the customer via email. You will be BCC'ed.
The suggestion will link the customer to a page where they can view your product details and documents, and then start an approval process internally.
