We have a manufacturing background - so we know the importance of making sure only approved materials are included in formulations. We also know how hard it can be to manage approvals!
We have released a new feature to help manufacturers to manage their approved materials.
What can I do?
Under each product in your Product Watchlist you can add one or more Approved Materials. Each material will link directly to a supplier's SKU information (including documentation) and you will be able to manage your approval process of the product in the app.
This means you can:
See the Approved Materials of a certain Raw Material at a glance
See the manufacturer-level information of each Approved Raw Material
View up-to-date technical documentation for each Approved Material, and request more documents from the supplier
Leave comments in relation to the quality and approval process of a material
See request, order and price trends for each raw material
How will it help me?
This feature has three main impacts:
Save time by managing your approved materials in the same place as your procurement (instead of Sharepoint and Excel)
Save money by understanding pricing trends at the material level
Reduce risk of formulation errors or recalls by having a strict approach to your approval processes
How do I get started?
This is a new feature so we have released a limited version in the app. Please let us know if you would like us to add your Approved Materials to the app.
