💳 For all payment types, we charge your credit card 3 business days before the payment is due and then make the payment on your behalf using one of the supported payment methods below.
Chexy Wallet offers two types of payments—Recurring Monthly Payments and One-Time Payments—to suit different billing needs.
Recurring Monthly Payments
Best for: Bills that are paid monthly and have a fixed amount, such as rent, condo fees, or child care.
⚠️ Recurring payments must be for the same amount each month. Variable bills, like electricity, water, and gas, aren’t supported.
Available payment methods:
Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) – Funds are automatically withdrawn from your bank account by your payee (e.g., landlord or service provider). Use your Chexy Wallet details to authorize payments, just like you would with a regular bank account. This ensures the payee can securely withdraw funds on the scheduled date.
Interac e-Transfer – Payments are sent directly to your payee’s email address on the scheduled date through Interac email transfer.
Bill Pay – Send payments to a registered payee using an associated account number just like you would through your banking app.
One-Time Payments
Best for: Bills with variable amounts (e.g., utilities) or when you need to make multiple payments in a month.
Available payment method:
