Yes, you can pay your personal income taxes to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec using Chexy. It works similarly to paying through your online banking bill payment function, but is processed through Chexy.

How to Pay Your Taxes

  1. Choose "Pay Income Taxes" from the Dashboard, or when you first sign up with Chexy.

  2. Select the correct tax payment type, as there are multiple types of payments to the CRA.

  3. For CRA payments, enter your Social Insurance Number (SIN). For Revenu Québec, enter the 20-digit payment code provided to you. More information can be found here.

  4. Enter the payment amount

  5. Review and Pay

Important Notes

  • Your SIN/ Identification number is encrypted while the transaction is in progress and permanently deleted after the payment is sent.

  • The CRA identifies you using your SIN so this is the only way to process tax payments through Chexy.

  • Revenu Québec identifies you using the 20-digit payment code provided to you. More information can be found here.

  • You cannot make recurring tax payments.

  • Only personal income taxes can be paid through Chexy – business tax payments are not supported.

  • To pay property taxes, set up a recurring or one-time bill payment, and search for the municipality you want to pay.
