Chexy’s Refund Policy
Chexy offers refunds for payments that are not successfully completed or otherwise failed due to specific issues. However, it is important to note the following key points:
Chexy's processing fees are non-refundable. These fees are incurred during the transaction and apply even in cases where refunds are issued.
Refunds are typically processed back to the original payment method you used.
Refunds may also include crediting back any rewards initially applied to the payment, if applicable.
Scenarios Eligible for Refunds
Refund scenarios include but are not limited to the following instances:
1. Rejected Payments
If the recipient of the payment opts to reject it, you may request a refund. Reach out to Chexy’s Support team to confirm the rejection and initiate the refund process. Note that processing fees will not be refunded.
2. Expired or Unaccepted Payments
If an e-Transfer payment is not accepted by the recipient within 7 days, it will expire automatically. In such cases:
Reach out to Chexy’s Support team to confirm the rejection and initiate the refund process.
If an e-Transfer payment is still in progress/pending:
Reach out to Chexy’s Support team and request the team to initiate a cancellation request, which may take up to 24 hours to complete, and request a refund, excluding the non-refundable processing fees.
Alternatively, you can wait for the transfer to expire or fail, and reach out to Chexy's Support team after.
How Refunds Are Processed

To initiate a refund:
Contact Chexy Support for confirmation of the situation (e.g., rejection, expiry, or error).
Provide the necessary details such as payment information to help the team easily identify your payments.
2. Timeline for Refund Completion
Refunds usually appear back on your original payment method within 3–5 business days. This timeline may vary slightly depending on your bank or payment processor.
3. Rewards and Credits During Refunds
If your original payment included rewards through Chexy, these rewards may be credited back to your Chexy account after the refund is processed. Ensure you review your account for confirmation of these credits once the refund completes.
