What is payroll?
Payroll allows Business users to pay employees and contractors directly through Chexy.
This feature is designed to simplify payroll disbursement while giving businesses more flexibility in how they fund payments.
Who can make payroll payments?
Payroll is available exclusively to users with a Business account, and can be made on Visa and Mastercard only.
This payment category is intended for registered businesses paying employees or contractors for legitimate compensation.
If you're not yet on a Business account, you’ll need to contact our Support team to upgrade your account to access this feature.
What can payroll be used for?
Employee salary payments
Contractor payments
Bonus disbursements
Commission payouts
Payroll must comply with all applicable employment and tax laws. They must be business-related and compliant with our Terms of Service.
How payroll works
Add a new payment from your Home page.
Enter your recipient's name and click “Add new.”
Select Payroll as the payment category.*
Choose your recipient’s preferred delivery method and enter the required payment details.
Review and schedule your payment.
We’ll process and deliver the funds according to the delivery method you selected.
*The Payroll payment category is only available on Business accounts.
