My account number is correct but Chexy says “invalid length.”

This happens when:

  • The biller requires a specific digit length

  • A prefix or suffix is missing

  • The account number format differs from what your statement shows

What to Do

  • Confirm exact account number format with the payee

  • Ask if any leading or ending zeros are required

If it still fails validation:

You may need to pay outside Chexy, as we cannot override biller validation rules.
