Why is my charge day different than my rent day?

We always card your payment method 4 business days before your scheduled Rent Day. This is necessary to allow sufficient time for the funds to settle before being issued to your landlord (we need the money to land in our account before we can send it to your landlord).

Payments are processed every morning at 4 am EST and Rent Payments are issued to landlords by 3 pm EST on your scheduled Rent Day (keep in mind that individual banks can sometimes take a few additional hours to successfully deliver Interac E-transfers after they are sent).
