This is the 'no-excuses' clock-in method - everyone knows how to make a phone call. You can still give people the app to join in on communication and see their timecards and schedules.

Calling to Clock In Is a Great Option

Calling our clock-in phone number is a great option for some employees. On the call, employees are prompted for their access code (10-digit cell number) to identify who they are and then for the 4-digit Shift Pin to identify their job.

Note: No GPS tracks are available with phone calls.

Account Setup for Telephony

If you need this feature, please contact support- they can enable telephony for your account.

Telephony Shift Call-In Pins

Once the telephony feature is turned on, you can add telephony Shift Pins to jobs to clock into a shift.

Go to the Job Profile > Schedules tab > next to the Shift name [click hamburger menu] > select Edit Telephony Pin. Assign the Shift a 4-digit Telephony PIN.

**Telephony Pins must be unique across all Shifts for the Company/Region.**

You can see the telephony Shift Pin next to the Shift Name on the schedules screen throughout the system.

How to Call to Clock In

Remember, the person must be on the Team for that shift to use that Shift Pin to clock in.

English/Spanish: Upon calling the clock-in phone number, the first prompt is spoken in English, followed by Spanish. The remainder of the call is in the person's set language.

Clock In Prompts:

  1. Please enter your 10-digit Access code (cell number)

  2. Please enter the 4-digit Shift PIN (employee must be on the Team for that shift)

  3. Callers are given 3 chances to enter the correct code/pin. Please take all 3 chances!

"You have clocked into Customer Name, Location Name, Job name at hh:mm AM/PM. Good Bye."

Call to Clock Out

The next time you call, you will be clocked out.

Clock Out Prompts:

  1. Please enter your 10-digit Access code (cell number)

  2. Callers are given 3 chances to enter the correct access code. Please take all 3 chances!

  3. The caller hears the job they are clocking out and the duration they have worked.

"You have clocked out of Customer Name, Location Name, Job name at hh:mm AM/PM. You have worked xx hours and xx minutes. Good Bye."
