Joining a CicloZone class takes about 30 seconds.

Before you arrive

  1. Download CicloZone from the App Store (iPhone / iPad) or Google Play (Android).

  2. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email — or use Express Studio Ride to join without an account (see below).

At the studio

  1. Open the CicloZone app.

  2. Tap Studio Ride from the main menu.

  3. Enter the studio code shown in the bottom-right corner of the studio screen and tap Use Studio Code.

  4. Optional toggles before you continue:

    • Show yourself on the on-screen leaderboard.

    • Play class music through your phone with headphones (only if the studio has no sound system).

    • Enable ERG — only if your studio's bikes support ERG Mode.

    • Adaptive FTP — turn on if you want your FTP assessed during the class.

  5. On the Bluetooth page, connect the bike you'll actually use (the bike number is shown on its phone tray). Pedal briefly if the bike needs a wake-up. Also connect your heart rate monitor if you have one. Tap Continue.

  6. You're now on the Rider Dials — the class will start automatically with the studio screen.

In short — Express Studio Ride

If you're late or don't want to create an account:

  1. Tap Express Studio Ride on the app's first screen.

  2. Enter the studio code.

  3. Enter your name (for the leaderboard) and answer a few quick questions (date of birth, height, weight, exercise frequency).

  4. The app estimates your FTP — adjust manually if you know yours.

  5. Connect your bike and start riding.

Express rides only temporarily save class history locally.

Step 1 — Download CicloZone App From App Store or Google Store

First, please download the app from the App Store or Google Play, and install the Ciclozone app on your device.

Step 2 — Log in to CicloZone - Express Studio Ride

Open the app. You will be prompted to sign in if you have an account, or you can sign in with Apple or Google. Alternatively, you can sign up using your email. You can also use Express Studio Ride to join a class immediately without creating an account or confirming your email. Your ride under Express Ride is saved locally, but we recommend creating an account after the class so your ride statistics and FTP can be linked to it.

Step 3 — Express Studio Ride

Let's start with "Express Studio Ride" - press "Express Studio Ride" at the bottom.

Step 4 — Enter Studio Code

Before joining, you will be asked to enter a unique studio code, which can be found in the bottom right corner of the screen in your studio. You will also have two additional options. The first option is for optional participation in the on-screen leaderboard, which can be toggled on or off during the class. The second option allows you to play class music through your personal device and connected headphones. This option is only necessary when there is no music system available in the studio.

Step 5 — Express Registration Video 1

Enter your Studio code and click on "Use Studio Code." The app will ask you for your name for the optional leaderboard, along with a few questions about yourself: date of birth, height, weight, and how often you exercise and cycle.

Step 6 — Express Registration Video 2 (1)

Your responses will help the app estimate your FTP for the resistance configuration. If you know your FTP and it differs from the suggested value, you can manually adjust it. After that, the Bluetooth page will open.

Step 7 — Sign up with Email

If you opt to sign in using email, Google, or Apple, you will be prompted to provide the same details, along with your email and password. Once you complete the registration, you will receive a confirmation email, and the Ciclozone app menu will open.

Step 8 — Ciclozone Main page

From the main page, tap "Studio Ride".

Step 9 — Ride Along at a Studio

A notification will appear to join the Studio Ride, similar to Express Ride. You will again have two additional options. The "Enable ERG" option is intended only for studios whose bikes support ERG Mode — automatic resistance adjustment. The next toggle is for the Adaptive FTP test, a unique CicloZone feature that assesses and adjusts your FTP live during the class.

Step 10 — Enter Studio Code

Enter the studio code and tap "Use Studio Code".

Step 11 — Bluetooth Page

We're now on the Bluetooth page. Connect your bike — and your heart rate monitor, if you plan to use one — to the app. You may need to start pedalling for the bike to power up.

Step 12 — Continue to Join

Make sure you connect to the bike you'll actually be using — its number is usually shown on the bike's phone tray. After connecting your bike and heart rate monitor, tap "Continue".

Step 13 — Rider Dials - Overview

You've successfully joined the class, and your Rider Dials are in front of you. Let's walk through the interface.

Step 14 — Rider Dials - Power Zone

On the left, you'll find your power zone — it shows both the target zone and your current power output, based on data received from the bike.

Step 15 — Rider Dials - HR Zone

On the right, you'll find your heart rate. If no heart rate monitor is connected, the power zone will also appear on the right. If only the heart rate monitor is connected, the heart rate zone will be displayed on the left.

Step 16 — Rider Dials - RPM

In the centre, you'll find the RPM Dial — it shows the current target RPM in a box and around the outer border of the dial. Your current RPM is shown in the centre.

Step 17 — Rider Dials - Class Overview

At the bottom, you'll find the class profile — it displays your performance compared to the class. Since we've just joined, it will appear empty at first, but as you participate the line fills in.

Step 18 — Rider Dials - Screens

Swipe the screen to the left to access the on-device leaderboard, and swipe left again to return to the Rider Dials.

Step 19 — Rider Dials Video - 2

Power zones, RPM, and HR zones adjust dynamically based on your input on the bike. The matching target zone is highlighted with a glow. Now let's open the menu by tapping the menu icon in the top right corner.

Step 20 — Ride Dials - Menu 1

In this section, we'll explore the options that can be toggled on and off during the ride. Most have already been mentioned, with the exception of "Show notification" — a feature for motivational and status pop-ups that can be enabled or disabled.

Step 21 — Rider Dials - Menu 2

Scroll down to reveal more.

Step 22 — Rider Dials - Bluetooth Connection

Another option here is "Bluetooth connections". Selecting it shows the bike and heart rate monitor currently connected.

Step 23 — Rider Dials - End Class

Tapping "End" opens a pop-up to end the class.

Step 24 — Exit Class

To exit the class, tap "Stop Riding".

Step 25 — Analytics

After the class, you'll be redirected to the class analytics page, where you can see your performance compared to the class along with all your ride metrics.
