The Trainer Dials are your in-class instructor screen on your personal phone or tablet. They unlock automatically when you join a class you've been assigned to.

Before class

  1. Install CicloZone from the App Store or Google Play.

  2. Sign in or sign up with the same email the studio used to invite you — this is required for Trainer Dials to unlock.

  3. Make sure you're assigned as the trainer for the Live or Free Style class.

Joining as the trainer

  1. From the app main menu, tap Studio Ride.

  2. Enter the studio code and tap Use Studio Code.

  3. Connect your bike → Continue.

  4. Once inside, swipe left past the Rider Dials and leaderboard to reach the Trainer Dials view.

In a Live class

  • Left side — current zone: time remaining, RPM range, riding position (seated or standing).

  • Right side — preview of the next zone.

  • Use the classification selector on the right to change the leaderboard view shown on the studio screen (COL / Calories / W/kg).

  • Tap Challenge to start a metric challenge based on the chosen classification. A blue light shows it's active — tap again to turn it off.

In a Free Style class

  • Tap the delay button to push back the start (up to 5 minutes).

  • Tap Bikes to see who's already connected.

  • Before class starts, swipe left to choose a background, then tap Submit.

  • After countdown, swipe left to open the Free Style control dials:

    • Central toggles change zones.

    • Tap the RPM to change target RPM.

    • Changes apply instantly on Rider Dials and the studio screen.

To finish

  • Exit instructor mode — leaves the class but riders continue.

  • End class for riders — ends the class for everyone.

Step 1 — Download CicloZone App From App Store or Google Store

To begin, open the App Store or Google Play and install the Ciclozone app on your device.

Step 2 — Sign Up with Email

In the Ciclo Zone app, sign in with your account or create a new one using your email, Google, or Apple. You'll need to provide the same information as a rider, including your email and password. After completing registration, you'll receive a confirmation email and the CicloZone app menu will be available.

Step 3 — Importance of the Trainer Email

It is essential that the email used to register in the Ciclo Zone app matches the email invited by the studio and registered in the Trainer Web Account. This ensures you can access the Trainer Dials during classes. For guidance on team member invitations, see the video "Invite Trainers And Manage Team Settings".

Step 4 — Trainer Assignment

For Live and Free Style Classes, you need to be assigned as the trainer to access the Trainer Dials. Inviting team members is explained in the how-to video "Invite Trainers And Manage Team Settings".

Step 5 — Ciclozone Main page

After registering in the app, tap "Studio Ride" from the main menu.

Step 6 — Enter Studio Code

Enter the studio code and tap "Use Studio Code".

Step 7 — Continue to Join

Connect your bike to the app and tap "Continue". To see this process in detail, watch our how-to video "Join Studio Ride and Rider Dials".

Step 8 — Live Classes

Let's begin with the Live Class and the Trainer Dials, which become accessible once you are assigned as the trainer.

Step 9 — Swipe Left

Once you join the class, swipe left through the Rider Dials and the leaderboard to reach the "Live Dials" view for the trainer.

Step 10 — Live Class Dials

In a Live Class, the Trainer Dials display all the information you need about the class, so you don't have to glance back at the studio screen.

Step 11 — Live Class Dials - Details

The left box displays the current zone of the class — the time remaining in this zone, the RPM range, and the riding position. On the right, you'll see the next zone, so you can prepare riders for what's coming up.

Step 12 — Leaderboard Classification

On the right, you'll find the leaderboard classification selector.

Step 13 — Classification

Use this to select the classifications for the leaderboard — it updates the leaderboard displayed on the studio screen.

Step 14 — Challenge

Below the classification button you'll find the "Challenge" button, which starts a metric challenge on the leaderboard based on the chosen classification.

Step 15 — Challenge - Toggle

Toggle it on and off by tapping the button. A blue light indicates that the challenge is active.

Step 16 — Free Style Explained

Next, let's discuss Free Style Classes and the Trainer Dials, which give instructors complete control over the session without a pre-defined class profile. The instructor guides the workout in real time using the Free Style Dials to adjust zones and cadence.

Step 17 — Base - Delay

When you join the class via the studio code, you immediately get additional options. You can delay the start of the class by tapping the delay button. You can also tap "Bikes" to see who is already connected to the class.

Step 18 — Base - Bikes

Before the class begins, you can swipe left to choose a background.

Step 19 — Select Background

Tap the background you want to use on the screen, then tap "Submit".

Step 20 — Count down

Once the countdown is complete, you will enter the class.

Step 21 — Free Style Controls

Swipe left to reach the Free Style control dials.

Step 22 — Free Style Dials

On the Free Style Dials, select the zones using the central toggles. Tapping the RPM adjusts the target RPM on the riders' Rider Dials. All changes take effect immediately and update both the Rider Dials and the studio screen by altering the graphics. All other controls remain the same.

Step 23 — End Class

At the end of the class you have two options: "Exit instructor mode" keeps the class active on the studio screen and on the riders' Rider Dials, while "End class for riders" ends the class for everyone.
