The leaderboard is optional — you have to opt in to appear on it. If you're not showing up, work through these four checks.
1. Leaderboard participation — are you opted in?
This is the most common reason. You have to opt in to appear on the leaderboard:
Check the leaderboard toggle when joining the class — make sure it's ON.
Mid-class: open the menu in the top-right of the Rider Dials and confirm Show on leaderboard is ON.
2. Bike signal — is your bike sending data?
If your bike isn't sending data, the leaderboard has nothing to rank you on.
Look at your Rider Dials — is your power value updating?
If not, open the menu → Bluetooth connections → reconnect the bike. See "My Rider Dials aren't updating while I'm pedalling"
3. The leaderboard's ranking metric just changed
Your instructor can switch the leaderboard metric mid-class between COL% (CicloZone Output Level), Calories and W/kg (watts per kilogram of body weight). If they've just switched, give it a moment for fresh values to populate.
4. Did you change bikes mid-session?
If you moved to a different bike and didn't reconnect to the new one, the leaderboard still attributes your data to the original bike. Open the menu → Bluetooth connections → connect the bike you're actually riding.
Can I see the leaderboard after the class ends?
No. Leaderboard data is live only and is not stored after the class. That's by design — see "What is the leaderboard, and what happens to it after class?" Your own ride data is still saved to your post-ride analytics regardless of whether you appeared on the leaderboard.
Still not appearing?
If Show on leaderboard is ON, your bike is connected and your power is updating, but you still don't appear, ask in the chat and include:
Your studio name and the class time.
The name you're riding under.
Whether other riders are appearing on the leaderboard.
That last one matters most: if nobody is appearing, it's the studio screen rather than your account — the studio should check "The studio app is stuck on connecting".
