Update the WordPress Plugin

Once your custom domain and CNAME record have been set up, update the CitySpark WordPress Plugin with your custom host name.

  1. Log in to your WordPress site.

  2. Go to CitySpark Event Calendar settings.

  3. Find the Custom Host Name section.

  4. Enter the custom host name you set up as your CNAME record. For example, if your CNAME is events.example.com, enter events.example.com.

  5. Save your settings.

Once saved, the CitySpark event calendar blocks on your site will use your custom domain instead of the standard CitySpark domain.

Verify the Calendar

Visit a page on your website that contains a CitySpark calendar or portal block and confirm that the calendar loads correctly. Using the custom host name allows the calendar to load even when an ad blocker is enabled.
