This verification is essential for securing bookings and employment opportunities through ClassCover.
Why Am I Not Verified?
There are several reasons you might see a "Not Verified" status on your profile:
Non-Accredited Role: You're in a position that doesn't require accreditation, such as a Student Learning Support Officer (SLSO), Education Assistant (EA), or other non-teaching roles.
Lapsed Accreditation: Your teaching accreditation has expired.
Data Mismatch: Your details haven't matched with the NSW Department of Education's records, often indicated by a message saying "Not Matched with Department of Education."
What Does "Not Matched?" Mean?
“Not Matched with Department of Education” means your details on ClassCover don’t match the NSW Department of Education’s records. Check your name, NESA number, and date of birth are correct in your profile, then resubmit for verification.
How to Resolve the "Not Verified" Status
If your details haven’t matched, follow these steps:
Log in to ClassCover and head to My Profile.
Click Edit and scroll to "Verify your profile with NSW Department of Education."
Click Update to check and update your details – make sure everything exactly matches what the Department of Education has on file (including your full name, NESA number, and date of birth).
Click Submit to resubmit your details for verification.
Need to Get Re-Accredited?
If your NESA accreditation has lapsed, you’ll need to go through the re-accreditation process with NESA before you can be verified on ClassCover and teach in NSW schools again.

Don't forget! Once you have been re-accredited, return to your ClassCover profile and update your verification details to regain your verified status.
