Did you know?

The Teachers in the Field – Classroom Cover Stream aims to support relief teaching in regional, rural and remote NSW public schools. Under this program, teachers are offered temporary full-time positions (for up to 3 years) to work across a group of schools in a hub and spoke model located within a geographic area, or in one school (inbuilt relief model). This program was extended in 2022 to now support more than 333 schools across NSW.

Teachers engaged as part of the program may benefit from:

  • reduced commuting time for teachers who previously travelled longer distances to provide casual relief;

  • longer engagements for staff who may have previously been employed on a casual basis; and

  • appointments that may include benefits and incentives.

It could be you!

If you are looking for a new adventure that allows you to make a difference, then this may be the right program for you. As a teacher in regional, rural and remote communities, you will have the unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students and the local community. Visit our website for more information on the positions available.
