Creating and Editing Student Opportunities

  • From Opportunities, click +Add Opportunity

  • A new window for creating your opportunity will open

  • From here you can customize your new opportunity by filling out the information for each tab across the top of the new window, General, Who is it for?, and When and where?

General

From the "General" tab, you can add the opportunity name, and attach the opportunity to a Service. You can set the experience type and specialties. From the general tab you can toggle the sliders to open the opportunity for coordinator scheduling, or post the opportunity to the search page. You can require approval by Clinical Site coordinators and allow or disallow schedule change proposals from students if they are scheduled by a coordinator.

Who is it for?

From the "Who is it for?" tab, you can limit the opportunity to only accept students from schools included in an agreement, a minimum student year and require the student be a specific discipline. You can also select a freeze date that prevents scheduling on the opportunity past a certain date.

When and Where?

"When and Where?" allows you to select the opportunity location and the dates that the opportunity is available. Available shifts can be used to specify a date range or time of day that students and coordinators can select from. Shifts can be used to set a limit on how many students/student groups(cohorts) can participate on any given day. Slots over time sets a limit for the number of individuals that can participate over the lifetime of the opportunity.

Editing, Copying, and Deleting an Opportunity:

On the right side of each listed Opportunity, click on the 3 vertical dots. From the drop-down menu, you can click on "Edit opportunity" to edit an existing Opportunity.

In the same location, you can also select "Copy opportunity" and "Delete opportunity." From this menu, it's also possible to view any related Staff, Services, Organizations, Schools, and Agreements.

Filtering and Exporting Opportunities

You can now apply search filters to search for opportunities and use filters inside of the opportunities, you can view quick filters, access a related service from the opportunity, and export opportunities into a spreadsheet.

Apply Search Filters:

To filter your opportunities, click on "+ Add filter" and select the desired filter you wish to apply. Only opportunities that fall under that filter will display.

Quick Filters:

To apply Quick Filters click on "Quick Filters" at the top left of the opportunities page. This feature allows you to click on any of the information under the opportunity to see it in greater detail.

Export Opportunities:

To export your Opportunities list, click on "Export" at the top right of the Opportunities page. This will export the filtered list of Opportunities displayed on the page. Click on "show" to specify which Opportunities you would like to have displayed on the screen.
