What is a Broadcast?
A broadcast sends the same message to multiple clients at once. Each client receives it as a normal chat message with a push notification - they do not know it was sent to others.
Three Ways to Send a Broadcast
1. To All Clients
Go to Clients
Make sure no filters are active (you should see all your active clients)
Click Broadcast in the top-right corner
Write your message and click Send to all clients
This sends to every client matching your current view.
2. To a Filtered Group
Use filters to narrow down who receives the broadcast - for example by Coach or Tags.
Go to Clients
Filter by Coach (e.g. only Lars's clients) or Tags (e.g. only "Weight Loss" clients)
Click Broadcast in the top-right corner
The panel shows "Send to all matching clients" with the exact number
Write your message and send
This is useful if you have multiple coaches on your team and want to send updates only to a specific coach's clients, or if you want to target a specific client group like weight loss or muscle gain.
3. To Hand-Picked Clients
Go to Clients
Manually select specific clients using the checkboxes on the left
A bottom bar appears — click Broadcast
Write your message and send
Use this when you want full control over exactly who gets the message.
Writing Your Message
The broadcast panel lets you:
Write your message in the text field
Use variables to personalize: click Client First Name, Client Full Name, or Coach Full Name to insert them. These are replaced with the actual values for each client automatically.
Add attachments: images, videos, audio, or documents
For example: "Hey {Client First Name}, just a quick Friday update from {Coach Full Name}..." becomes "Hey Jane, just a quick Friday update from Tommy..." for each client.
Bulk Actions
When you select multiple clients with checkboxes, the bottom bar also gives you access to other bulk actions beyond Broadcast:
Retry Charging: retry failed payments for selected clients
Assign Automation: assign an automation flow to selected clients
Assign Coach: reassign selected clients to a different coach
Tips
Use filters + broadcast for weekly updates.
If each coach sends their own Friday update, filter by coach first so clients only hear from their coach.
Use tags for segmented messaging.
Tag clients by program type and filter before broadcasting - so weight loss clients get different content than muscle gain clients.
