Sharing Guides and Knowledge with Your Clients

How to write an article with text, images, video and files, choose who can read it, and where your clients find it in the app.

Written by Malene Malmkjær

Articles let you put an explanation, images, video and files together on one page that your clients read in the app. Until now, you could only share knowledge as files in the Vault or as chat messages. An article keeps everything in one place, and you can edit it at any time without sending a new file.

Good for: a welcome guide, how to log food, your take on protein, a warm-up routine, what to pack for the gym, or anything you find yourself explaining again and again.

Create an article

  1. Go to Content in the sidebar and open the Articles tab.

  2. Click + Create article.

  3. Give it a title. Above the title you can Add icon, Add cover and Add description. Your clients see the cover and description on the article card in the app.

  4. Write the article (see below).

  5. Choose who can read it under Details.

  6. Click Publish changes.

Your work saves automatically while you write. At the top you will see Saved, or Unpublished changes when you have edits your clients can’t see yet.

Write the article

The editor works much like Notion. You build the article from blocks, and there are two ways to add them:

  • Drag a block in from the Blocks panel on the right.

  • Type / on an empty line and pick a block from the menu.

Writing blocks

  • Text: a plain paragraph

  • Heading: a section title, in three sizes

  • List: bulleted, numbered, dash or letter list

  • To-do: a checklist

  • Quote: a highlighted quote

  • Callout: a tinted box for the one thing they must not miss

  • Divider: a line between sections

Media blocks

  • Image: a photo or graphic

  • Video: an exercise demo or a short message from you

  • File / PDF: a document your client can open

You can add media straight from your computer, or pick something you already have in the Vault. Once it’s in the article, you can make it smaller and place it left, centre or right.

Preview it as your client

Click Preview at the top to see the article exactly as your client will see it on their phone. It’s worth a quick look before you publish, especially if you’ve used several images or videos.

Choose who can read it

Open the Details tab in the right-hand panel and pick one of three options:

  • Private: only you. Clients never get access. Use it for drafts or notes to yourself.

  • Public: every client can read it while it’s live.

  • Segmented: only selected clients, chosen by tags, gender or individual clients.

Changes under Details only reach your clients when you click Publish changes.

Notifications

  • First publish: everyone who can see the article gets a notification in the app.

  • Later edits: no new notification. Your clients simply see the updated version the next time they open it.

So you can fix a typo or add a video without notifying everyone again.

What your client sees

Your clients find your articles in the app under Profile → Articles. Each article shows as a card with its cover, title and description.

  • The Articles row only appears once there’s at least one article your client can read. Until then it stays hidden, so they never see an empty page.

  • Tapping an image, a video or a PDF in an article opens it in the app’s own viewer, so your client never has to leave the app.

Manage your articles

All your articles are listed under Content → Articles, with their status, who can read them, and when they were last updated. Use the search field or the Status filter to find one quickly.

Good to know

  • Article or Vault? Use the Vault for a single file you just need to hand over. Use an article when the file needs an explanation around it, or when you will keep updating it.

  • Editing a published article does not hide it while you work. Clients keep seeing the published version until you click Publish changes.
