Communities: create and manage a group for your clients

Communities give your clients a shared space in the app, where they can post wins, ask questions, share recipes and workouts, and cheer each other on. You decide who’s in each community and what they can do there.

Creating a community

  1. Click Communities in the left menu

  2. Click + New community

  3. Give it a name (for example “Spring challenge 2026”) and click Create community

A new community starts as Private, so nobody can see it until you add members or make it public. A checklist on the right helps you finish the setup: Name it, Add members, Add a banner and Write a description.

Setting up your community

Open the community and go to the Manage tab. Click Save when you are done, or Discard changes to undo.

Banner, name and description

  • Banner: a wide photo shown at the top of the community. Upload an image or drag it in (max 10 MB).

  • Name: what the community is called in the app.

  • Description: one line about what the community is for (max 160 characters). Clients see it before they join.

Who can join

  • Private: only people you add.

  • Public: anyone can join from the app. All your clients can see the community and join it themselves.

Who can post

  • Everyone: members and coaches can post.

  • Only coaches: only you and your team can create posts. Members can still reply and react.

💡 “Only coaches” works well for announcement groups, where you share news and content and members comment on it.

Rules

Click + Add rule to write the community rules. Members accept them before their first post.

Topics

Topics help sort the posts, for example Wins, Questions and Progress. Members pick a topic when they post, and the feed can be filtered by topic. Type a topic and click + Add topic.

Filtering by topic works in the Feed on the dashboard. In the app, clients see all posts and the topic on each post, but they can't filter by topic yet.

Adding members

  1. Go to the Members tab

  2. Click Add members

  3. Search for and pick the clients you want (up to 200 at a time)

Under Members you see everyone in the community, with the date they were added. You can open their Client profile, or Remove them. Removed members are listed under Removed.

💡 Clients are added one by one, not by tag. If you want all your clients in a community, set Who can join to Public, and they can join from the app themselves.

Archiving or deleting a community

You will find both at the bottom of the Manage tab.

  • Archive: members can’t see the community anymore, but posts and members are kept, and you can unarchive it later. Good for a challenge that has ended.

  • Delete: the community and all its posts disappear for everyone. ⚠️ This can’t be undone.

Posting in a community

You can post from two places:

  • In the community’s Feed: click in “Write something to #community…” at the top.

  • From anywhere in Communities: click New post in the top right, and choose which community the post goes to.

Writing a post

  1. Pick a topic (optional), for example Wins or Questions

  2. Write your post

  3. Add extra content if you like:

    • Photo/video

    • Recipe: shares one of your recipes as a card that members can open and save

    • Workout: shares a workout the same way

  4. Click Post now, or Choose date/time to schedule it for later

Polls

Switch from Post to Poll at the top of the post box:

  • Write the question, and add some context if you like

  • Add at least two options (+ Add option for more)

  • Tick Allow several answers if members can pick more than one

  • Set a Closes date if the poll should end at a set time

Members see the results live, with the number of votes and the percentage for each option.

Scheduled posts

Scheduled posts are under Scheduled, both in each community and in the overview on the left. Click Edit to change one, or the bin to delete it.

The feed

The Feed tab shows every post in the community.

  • Filter by topic: use the buttons at the top (All, Wins, Questions, Progress…). The number shows how many posts each topic has.

  • Sort: choose Newest or another order in the top right.

  • Coach label: your posts and your team’s posts are marked Coach, so members can see who’s from the team.

  • Topic and edits: each post shows its topic, and “edited” if it was changed after posting.

Reacting and replying

  • Click the smiley to react to a post. The reactions and their counts show under the post.

  • Write a reply in Write a reply…. You can add a photo to your reply too.

  • The number of replies is shown on each post.

Managing a post

Click ⋯ on a post to delete, hide from members, or pin it. Members can edit and delete their own posts, but not yours.
