The first step in launching a creator campaign is making a Promotion. You can do this when your Creator list is ready, or before you start your search.
We suggest creating one Promotion per release and within it, separating creators by regions or creative theme.
This video goes through the set-up steps starting with creating a Promotion, setting up the first Campaign, and sending the initial Outreach. Keeping reading to learn more about Collaboration Links and some common Q&A.
Collaboration Links
We created Collaboration links to save you time retrieving and reviewing drafts and posts each time you work with a creator. When activated, you will have the option to send any Creator you work with a unique workspace which includes:
Instructions, due-dates and the specific sound to use
A portal to upload Drafts
A portal to upload final Post
An entry field for payment information
Once you align on price with a creator, click the rocket button in the dialog box to send a link.
From here, the creator can click Join Promotion to add their Paypal email and the agreed upon price.
Even if you are not using Cobrand Payments feature, this is a mandatory step. Don't worry - if the Creator enters the wrong amount by accident, you can edit it later. It does not trigger any financial transactions!
Next, the Creator can upload their Draft when ready. You will be notified when it is available, and you can approve or reject if from Cobrand. In turn, the Creator will be notified that you reviewed it.
Common Questions & Answers
Do creators have to use Cobrand to see a Collaboration Link?
Nope. The link is accessible to anyone who receives it. Each creator receives a unique link.
How does a Creator join the Promotion using the Collaboration Link?
When they click the link, they will see a button to "Join Promotion". When they click it, they will be asked to add their Paypal email, and confirm the rate you agreed upon.
As soon as they do this, you will see their status is "Hired" in Cobrand.
How can I fix the rate per post for my campaign?
When setting up the Campaign, the final setting will allow you to do this. By default it is disabled.
When activated, this will pre-fill the price value in the Collaboration Link.
This setting is appropriate when you know you will be issuing the exact same payment per post to all participating creators, and there will be no unique negotiations.
What happens if I already sent my Email Outreach but I want to add more Creators?
When you add new Creators they will still be "Shortlisted" and you need to send them an Email. For this reason we recommend saving your first email outreach as a Template so you can re-use it in subsequent waves of Outreach.
How can I see the Collaboration Link for a Creator?
You can access the link for that specific Creator by clicking the three dots on their row:
