Creator Payments

How to pay creators directly in cobrand.

Updated over 4 months ago

Creator Payments are the fastest way to pay creators when running Promotions out of Cobrand. Once a creator has posted at least once in a campaign, when you hover over the row of any of those creators you’ll see a “Pay Creator” button. After clicking on the button, you’ll be prompted to enter the creator’s Paypal account, a currency type and the payout amount.

You can view all of your payments in the tab “Payments” under the Promotions tab. You can also pay creators directly in this view if you’d like by using the “Pay Creator” button.

If you’re not using co:brand’s Creator Payment system, you can still keep track of all the creators you’ve paid by just clicking the “Mark As Paid” button. This acts as a task management tool - and will help you keep track of the artists that you’ve already paid.

Keep in mind, if you pay a creator through co:brand you will be charged a 10% fee on top of the amount and the full amount will be shown on your next co:brand statement.

As with all commercial transactions on Paypal, co:brand transfers are subject to Paypal's 3-5% Goods and Services fee which is levied upon the seller, similar to credit card fee charges (in this case, the creator). This is issued by Paypal, and depends upon region where the recipient is located. Most creators are aware of this and price their services accordingly.
