Most dashboard widgets in Cogniss can only be added and used once, but there are two widgets that can be added to your dashboard multiple times. These are the CML widget and the Image Header widget.
The ability to add multiple instances of these dashboard widgets provides you with additional flexibility when planning how best to configure your app's home screen.
Note: We plan to support multiple usage for more widget types in the future. Please let us know if there are any that you would like us to prioritise!
How to set up multiple uses of dashboard widgets
In Cogniss Creator, navigate to the Dashboard tab. To add a dashboard widget, click on Add new widget.
Once your widget has been added, you can update it. When you're ready to add another widget click on the more icon.
In the pop-up menu, select Add another and this will add a second widget.
You can now configure the second widget.
Once you've updated the content in your widgets, navigate to Layout. In this wizard you can configure the layout of the widgets on your app's home screen. Once you've completed this, close the wizard by clicking Done. When you're back on the Dashboard tab, click Save.
