How to import student submissions from Canvas (CoGrader legacy)

Follow these instructions to effortlessly import student submissions from Canvas using CoGrader.

01 - Click on the class you want, or create a new one

Access the specific class in the class section.

02 - Click "Create assignment"

Initiate the assignment creation process.

03 - Fill in the assignment's name

Enter the title for the assignment.

04 - Click "Create"

Proceed to create the assignment.

05 - Enter assignment instructions

Enter the detailed instructions for the assignment.

06 - Click "Next"

Navigate to the next step.

07 - Click to select a rubric

Select a template or create a new rubric.

08 - Click "Next"

Proceed to the next step.

09 - Click "Save assignment"

Add extra instructions if you want to and save the assignment.

10 - Click "See how to import from Canvas"

Access instructions for importing from Canvas.

11 - Check instructions if needed

Check how to student submissions from Canvas and how to import them into CoGrader.

12 - Click "Import files"

Initiate the file import process.

13 - Add files by dragging or selecting them from your device.

Drag files to the blue box or click to select in folder. Supported extensions: DOCX, PDF, HTML. Each file should not exceed 2MB

14 - Click "Done! Click to close"

Finalize the import process.
